Main Lodge: The Hide sleeps up to 20 guests in 10 beautifully-furnished deluxe tents, all with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas that overlook the busy waterhole.
The tents have a myriad of different interior configurations that include family and honeymoon deluxe options with indoor and/or outdoor bathtubs and showers.
They are fan cooled for your comfort in summer and have extra warm blankets and hot water bottles for the cool winter months.
Each tent has a private verandah from which to enjoy views of a large variety of game at the waterhole.
The Private Hide
With 360-degree views and the waterhole nearby, The Private Hide provides a private place to watch animals and birds, dine exclusively, celebrate a special occasion, relax with cocktails, sit around the glowing fire pit… the possibilities are as endless as the vista.
When using The Private Hide, guests stay in The Hide’s tents – Tent 7, 6 and/or 5, depending on the numbers in your group.
Tents 7 and 6 are large deluxe or family tents, which can accommodate two adults and two children in full-size beds.
Each room has its own en-suite bathroom – indoor bath, inside and outdoor shower and hot water all day.

Toms Little Hide
– Tom’s Little Hide is a beautifully authentic safari house set just along from The Hide, which accommodates up to 10 guests (6 adults, 4 children)
– With no worries about intruding on other guests, Tom’s Little Hide offers the opportunity to really let go and relax. As Tom’s is booked out exclusively it comes with its own private guide and vehicle.
– The bedrooms are each individually decorated and furnished with solid Zimbabwean teak furniture.
– All the rooms are mosquito-proofed and have fans for warmer days.
– Rooms 1 and 2 are both double en suite bedrooms, and form the main part of Tom’s Little Hide, They can also accommodate one child in each on a roomy day bed.
– The bedrooms are linked by a dining room and outside veranda, complete with sparkling splash pool.
– Room 3 is more of a family tent with an outside bathroom and inter-leading children’s room, which can accommodate two children.
– 3 large adjacent rooms, all en suite, waterhole views
Safari adventures
– Day and night game drives, guided bush walks and up-close game viewing in the seclusion of the camp’s unique underground hides.
– For an unapparelled safari adventure guests may sleep under the stars at the The Dove’s Nest Treehouse at no extra charge. Located 10 minutes away from camp, the elevated platform offers the perfect vantage point from which to to submerge yourself in the safari experience safely and quietly.
– Special emphasis is on superb guiding. The safari guides at The Hide have been at the lodge for many years and their wildlife knowledge is exceptional.
Main Lodge
No children under 10 years of age allowed
Above 12 yrs of age is considered an adult
Children between 10 and 12 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing with parents and pay 75% of the adult rate when on their own.
Private Hide and Toms Camp children of all ages are welcome
