Hwange is Zimbabwe's premier wildlife destination. It is an easy and two- and a-bit hour transfer by road from Victoria Falls town to Main Camp where visitors are generally collected from. If budget allows then you may fly from Vic Falls into Hwange via a light aircraft flight.
There are variety of lodges to suit all budgets. Unlike Chobe, most of the lodges are within the national park and require no additional driving to get to the entrance. Game viewing is good all year around. Winter brings the big herds of elephant and buffalo while the summer months bring an array of migrant bird species and a prolific amount of antelope young and in turn the predators that follow for an 'easy' meal.

    Camp Hwange

Located in the heart of Hwange National Park, Camp Hwange is one of the newest lodges on offer.

    Davison's Camp

Davison's Camp is found in the private Linkwasha Concession

    Little Makalolo

Little Makalolo is part of the Wilderness Safaris stable of lodges and lies within their large private concession in a prime area of Hwange National Park.

    Miombo Safari Lodge

Miombo Safari Lodge has been given new life. Recently refurbished the camp is looking beautiful once more. The camp lies in a private concession on the outskirts of National Park. The stilted tented chalets are our favourite - created in new safari chic style they have lost of essential creature comforts.

    Sable Sands Lodge

Found on a private concession with stunning views of a dried riverbed

    The Hide Safari Camp

The Hide Safari Lodge is one of the stalwarts of Hwange National Park. The camp is situated in the Kennedy area of Hwange - an all year round game rich area. The luxury en suite tents are strategically placed around a busy waterhole so you can relax on your verandah, in the swimming pool or in the waterside hide and watch the wildlife come to you.
