Which Vic Falls accommodation should I choose?

Choosing the right accommodation is a whole lot more than just about price. These are our suggestions based on frequently asked questions. Talk to us about your needs and we will guide you to the perfect accommodation for your budget and personal requirements.
I'm travelling with my family
The Kingdom Hotel or Elephant Hills have great family facilities and affordable rates. The Zambezi Waterfront is an excellent choice on the Zambian side if you like an easy going resort with a lively atmosphere.

If you all want to stay together in a unit we recommend the
Safari Suites at The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge which have two and three bedroom options which include breakfast daily and many 'extras'.
I want to be able to walk to the entrance to the Victoria Falls
Hotels within walking distance of the Falls are The Kingdom Hotel, The Victoria Falls Hoteland Ilala Lodge on the Zim side and The Royal Livingstone Hotel and The Zambezi Sun on the Zambian side.
I like uncommercialised places

You can't go wrong with Chundu Island Camp. Not fancy smancy but oh such a wonderful spot! This rustic comfortable camp is the only camp on an island which lies just off the Zambezi National Park.

The new Zambezi Sands or Pioneers Camp are tented camps within the Zambezi National Park are privately owned and offer a real Africa experience with the opportunity of seeing wildlife
but also close enough to Vic Falls town to enjoy some of the adrenaline activitivitiues on offer.

I want a good comfortable budget hotel
Definately choose the Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel. We have a great Pay Stay deal too!
I want a romantic weekend away
Our favourite place for Zambezi romance is the Sussi and Chuma Lodge in Zambia. You cannot go wrong with this lodge if you are looking to take your partner away for a special weekend away. The stilted chalets all have a view of the river, they are beautifully decorated and have a bath AND a shower the food is sublime and the staff attentive.

If you want to stay in Zimbabwe The Elephant Camp is our choice for romance but you will have to book well in advance as this lodge has very high occupancies! The camp is set in the bush on a private concession just out of town but when the river is high you can see the spray of the Falls from the main areas of the camp. Spacious tents with a bedroom and a lounge area plus your very own plunge pool combined with delicious food will make an indelible impression.
I want a view
Definately the most amazing view in Vic Falls is to be had at Gorges Lodge with a birds eye view of the Batoka gorge. An affordable gem, with comfortable accommodation that has recently been refurbished and friendly managers who will take every opportunity to make you welcome!
I want a private villa:
The beautiful Chuma Houses at Sussi and Chuma are our choice for privacy and flexibilty. Each cottage has two bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms
I want to stay in a lodge but dont want to break the bank
Thorntree River Lodge on the Zambian side of the Falls has an old school safari camp atmosphere thats hard to beat. It's right on the banks of the Zambezi River within the Mois oa Tunya Park so you may get lucky and see some wildlife in and around the lodge. We have a great deal that includes all meals and loads of extras
