Little Makalolo has just six tented suites, including a family unit.
Step out of your en-suite into an outdoor shower under the African sky, or head along the wooden walkway to the living and dining areas, and the open fire-deck for starry, storytelling evenings. Or simply sunbathe at the raised pool deck, looking for the wildlife that frequents the waterhole in front of camp.
Interact with a local community in their homes and schools, discovering a new culture. Watch the multitudes of elephant or buffalo from the log-pile hide at the camp’s waterhole. Thrill to off-the-charts game drives with lions, cheetahs, African wild dogs, spotted hyenas, leopards, and the vast range of plains game often fleeing them. Slow down on a nature walk to appreciate the ecosystem’s biodiversity and its smaller creatures.
